DHS’s Grade 9s take to the skies

DHS senior cricket boys travelled to Pongola to play a match against Zululand development. They played very well and managed to win their match. The team would also like to take this opportunity to thank their sponsor, Battery Centre, for helping them with an amazing kit.
DHS grade 9 tour
On Monday, September 14, the grade nine learners, accompanied by Mr Halforty, Mr Kelbrick and Miss Honiball, made their way to Bergventure in the Drakensberg near Monk’s Cowl. The instructors kept the learners busy with abseiling, tree climbing, hiking, raft building and zip lining.
They had fabulous weather and enjoyed every minute of it. Many new friendships were formed and DHS looks forward to next year’s adventure in the berg.
