Time trialists excel in Mpathi Mountain Race

Time trialists sprang to action and excelled at the Mpathi Mountain Race held on September 12.
Nicky topped the lot and scooped position five in the race but also got the esteemed position of being the first Dundee lady home in the 15km category in an incredible time of 36 minutes.
Jayrushka, Rikesh and Shervive also did well in the 15 km walk event, and Vasanthee excelled in the colours of Biggarsberg Athletic Club.

In the 3km walk held on September 10, Vasanthee and Ivan excelled in a time of 26 minutes and 04 seconds with very little effort. Nicky once again proved to be one of the fastest ladies around when she cruised in a time of 18 minutes and 52 seconds, with Rikesh in the four km event.
Jayrushka still did well after a day off and finished off with a time of 25 minutes and 30 seconds in the 4 km event. Puckree took on the 4 kms in 23 minutes and 23 seconds, after returning from a break of over two years.
Please Note:
Time trials take place in front of Dundee Junior School, Excelsior Lane at 5:20pm to give the working class a chance. Anybody from the public is welcome to join at no cost.
