Isikhaliseze High School’s u/15 soccer team recently represented Amajuba District at the Coca Cola Sponsored Tournament, held at Ulundi Regional Sports Complex Stadium.
At the tournament, the team competed against the best of the best in KwaZulu-Natal.
Despite facing tough competition, the team secured third place.
“The boys exerted and adapted themselves very well under such strenuous circumstances. I am ecstatic about the solid performance and dedication shown by them,” said Siphiwe Kalipa, Isikhaliseze High School’s sports organiser.
He said the team’s standard of football was of a high standard. He further thanked all sponsors, parents and the school’s staff for their support.
