BREAKING NEWS: Police make massive drug bust on the N11

The vehicle was searched extensively, and police managed to recover several labelled bags full of dagga.

According to police, 58 bags of dagga were recovered on the N11 in the early hours of this morning.

‘A’ Shift officers were conducting routine patrols in the area when they noticed a vehicle parked off to the side of the road.

The vehicle was searched extensively, and police managed to recover several labelled bags full of dagga. Police claimed the suspect was en route to Gauteng to deliver of the goods.

“A 33-year-old man was arrested and detained in custody,” said SAPS spokesperson, Captain Shooz Magudulela. “He is going to be charged for possession of dagga.”

The suspect is expected to appear before a local court soon.

The matter is currently the subject of police investigations.
