Last week was Arbour Week and Hamilton Preparatory recognised the event on Friday by planting up a herbaceous border of shrubs and standards to beautify the entrance and reduce their carbon footprint.
Each class took a turn planting and naming their plants.
The weather even got on board by raining down on them as the last plants were put in the ground.
