Ichthus Cricket Star, Preston Caldecott!
Preston Caldecott is on his way to end his Junior School cricket career off on a high note! He represented the Umzinyathi cricket team at the U/13 NKZN Cricket Trials at Lucas Meyer in Vryheid this past weekend. Preston played an excellent game of cricket and was retired at 30 runs (not out) to ensure each player received a chance. At the end of the weekend, Preston was selected to represent the Northern KwaZulu-Natal cricket team at the Inland Trials which will be held at St Charles College in Pietermaritzburg. Not forgetting that Preston was selected to represent the KZNCSSA as well as the SACSSA Cricket teams for the past 3 years.Well done to a cricket all-rounder. Ichthus is very proud of you, Preston!
