Businessman’s son faces attempted murder charges

A local businessman’s son is in hot water after a shooting outside a tavern in Agra Crescent on Sunday evening.

At around 6pm, an altercation is alleged to have occurred outside the tavern. According to the victim of the shooting, he was with friends sitting outside when a fight started between a group of people, resulting in him being shot in the arm.

The gunman fled the scene in a vehicle.

Sharaj Ambulance Services were contacted. On arrival, paramedic found the victim with a gunshot wound to his left arm. He was treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.

Police are investigating a case of attempted murder.
