Fountain after pipes burst in Delhi Road

Water is gushing out like a fountain in Delhi Road this morning (Thursday).

2 pipes that are metres apart burst sometime last night.

uThukela workers were dispatched to carry out repairs and worked until about 11pm. Everything was fine for a while, but one of the repaired areas sprung another leak and now it’s like a fountain in Delhi Road.

Residents are concerned and angry because they will most likely be without water while repairs are being done. In the meantime, all they can do is stand and watch as gallons of clean water goes to waste.
