Trisha packs a global punch

Proud dad, Naveen of Accounting Solutions in Dundee, said Trisha has always been passionate about the martial arts and first started karate as an eight-year-old in Dundee.

Twenty-two-year old Trisha Rajkumar is packing a punch in the world of martial arts.
The former Dundee High School student has just returned from a world event in Las Vegas where she was part of Team South Africa at the World Tang Soo Do Korean style championships. Trisha earned two gold and one bronze medal as an individual performer and a silver medal as part of the SA’s team’s overall display.
Trisha, who is currently in her final year of studying B.Comp accounting at Wits University, has also been chosen for the South African team to compete in the Africa Cup of Karate at the Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg at the end of September.

What she learnt in Dundee all those years ago is now being put to good use on the world stages of karate.
