Three vehicles involved in collision
Three vehicles were involved in a collision at the Drakensberg Road and FW Beyes Road intersection.
Three people were injured in a motor vehicle collision this morning, shortly before 8am.
The incident occurred at the Drakensberg Drive and FW Beyers Avenue intersection.
The collision took place when a motorist driving on Drakensberg Drive, towards the CBD, crashed into another vehicle that allegedly attempted to turn into FW Beyers.
The two vehicles spun out of control. The vehicles came to a standstill in FW Beyers Avenue, where a third vehicle was struck.
A fourth vehicle narrowly escaped the collision, but a passenger’s neck was injured when the driver slammed on brakes.
Emergency personnel attended to the injured, while traffic officers regulated the traffic flow.
No serious injuries were sustained and the collision will be under investigation.
