A cross breed dog was abandoned by its owner and tied up in front of the Animal- Anti Cruelty League (AACL) gates yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
When Annamarie from the AACL arrived at the kennels she found the dog tied up in the heat with no water or food.
She was heartbroken to see the dog tied up. She immediately gave the dog water and food which the dog (female) wolfed up.
“How can people be so cruel, couldn’t they phone or wait for me? If someone phoned I would have come as quickly as possible to help but instead they just left their dog tied to my our fence”, said Annamarie.
