Glencoe Angling Club which is an affiliate of the Northern Natal Fresh Waters Angling Association had its Annual General Meeting on July 27 at Ethangeni Combined School.
The following where successfully nominated to the Executive Committee:
Chairman: Mohamed Saleem Abdool, Vice chairman: Razak Khan, Secretary: Waseem Hoffese, Records clerk: Hussain Syed Treasurer: Rafique Dawood Hoffese, Captain: Shahid Hoffese and Vice Captain: Sunesh Singh.
Awards where handed to the following successful anglers for the season 2014 / 2015. The following were the recipients for the awards:
League champions trophy: Raees Kajee (KZN Dept of Sports and Recreation floating trophy).
Champion of champions trophy: Raees Kajee (Hoosen Dawood memorial trophy).
Heaviest scale fish: Mohamed Saleem Abdool (Giel van Heerden floating trophy).
Heaviest non-scaled fish: Shahid Hoffese (Ebees Express floating trophy).
Doubles knock out league trophy: Shahid Hoffese and Waseem Hoffese (Abdool’s family trust floating trophy).
Senior Angler of the season: Ahmed Sheik Ismail (Hi-way driving school floating trophy).
Junior Angler of the year: Akeel Singh (GAC shield).
