Protect yourself and your loved ones

"Many incidents of this nature could have and can be avoided. A firearm is seldom the best method of protection and can be dangerous for untrained members of the family."

“Many incidents of this nature could have and can be avoided. A firearm is seldom the best method of protection and can be dangerous for untrained members of the family.”

Here is a simple yet very effective way to deter intruders or attackers: Get a few trigger bottles that can squirt a single stream of water about one metre, there many available with adjustable spray nozzles that can squirt up to five metres. Fill the bottles with vinegar or bleach, keep a bottle near your bed at night, one or two near the entrances to your home and one at a spot easily accessible to anyone in the household at any time. Make sure everyone knows where it is!

“Should an intruder approach you, simply spray into the face. Try and aim for the eyes, but if sprayed into the face, it will normally have some splashed into the eyes anyway. This causes temporary blindness for up to 30 minutes and causes extremely painful burning of the eyes which will stop any assailant in his tracks.”

Train yourself and your family to pick up the spray bottle every time there is a knock at the door or if you need to investigate a noise or something unusual. Don’t just read this and decide you must do it ‘sometime.’ It’s in your own best interest to do it now!
