Thunee Competition deals out winter warmth

They did this by purchasing and packaging 27 winter gift-sets.The sets comprised of fluffy gowns, winter blankets and stylish scarf and glove sets for both male and female residents.

After the cards were dealt, the residents of the Aryan Benevolent Home (ABH) got more than just a good hand.

Captain Roshan Banawo and Suvir Dayasunker (the organisers of the Thunee Competition held on May 9) used all the money made during the competition to spread winter warmth to the elderly.
They did this by purchasing and packaging 27 winter gift-sets.The sets comprised of fluffy gowns, winter blankets and stylish scarf and glove sets for both male and female residents.
The goodies were handed out on June 25 and brought many smiles to the residents of the ABH.
They expressed their heartiest gratitude with big warm smiles and even an official thank you from member, Sharon Wood.
Captain Banawo found their gratitude touching and lamented that ‘the biggest thank you’ was the smiles on the residents faces.
