Pres Zuma promises new shopping mall for Nkandla

Dundee could be lagging behind Greytown and even Nkandla when it comes to shopping centres.
Already, half of Dundee and Glencoe residents make the almost weekly trek to the Newcastle Shopping Mall to stock up.

Now President Zuma has announced that his dream is to build a shopping mall at his hometown, Nkandla.
Development at President, Jacob Zuma’s Nkandla homestead is forging ahead.
This centre will be named Zuma Square.

According to President Zuma, speaking at the opening of a fully black-owned mall in Greytown, he would pursue his dream of building a mall upon retiring from politics altogether.

“Definitely I will build it,” the President was quoted by national media.

The President himself has strong ancestral ties to Greytown.
In the most recent news updates, the SAPS is to make a decision on whether any more security upgrades are required at Pres Zuma’s Nkandla residence.
This would address security ‘weaknesses’ at the residence.
