NKANDLA: Pres Zuma plans mall

President Zuma said he would pursue his dream of building a mall upon retiring from politics altogether.

Development at President, Jacob Zuma’s Nkandla homestead is forging ahead.

Beyond a fire pool, auditorium, clinic and other claimed security upgrades, Nkandla could boast a mall in future.

This centre will be appropriately named Zuma Square.

According to President Zuma, speaking at the opening of a fully black-owned mall in Greytown, he would pursue his dream of building a mall upon retiring from politics altogether.

“Definitely I will build it,” the President was quoted by national media.

Pres Zuma was among VIPs invited to the opening of Mavundla Square, named after businessman Philani Mavundla, reportedly among those who volunteered to raise money to pay back the state for upgrades to Nkandla.

The President himself has strong ancestral ties to Greytown.

In the most recent news updates, the SAPS is to make a decision on whether any more security upgrades are required at Pres Zuma’s Nkandla residence.

This would address security ‘weaknesses’ at the residence.

How do you feel about further developments at Nkandla?

Would you support a mall erected by President, Jacob Zuma?

Do you believe the Nkandla homestead needs additional security upgrades?
