Making maths memorable at Sarel Cilliers

The course extends to topics on fractions, geometry and graphs, and has been proven to enhance learner performance in mathematics.

Grade 8 learners at Sarel Cilliers High School put their maths skills to the test when they participated in the K2U Mathematics Programme under the guidance of maths teacher Mr Soobramoney, on June 10 and June 18. Greg Shapiro is the founder of this dynamic maths programme.
Using codes, learners are able to find a way of memorising and recalling timetables. The course extends to topics on fractions, geometry and graphs, and has been proven to enhance learner performance in mathematics.
Research indicates that the schools which use this programme create learners who are well versed in both sports and academics, achieving all-round excellence.
Sarel learners excelled and achieved almost perfect scores. They thoroughly enjoyed a very valuable learning experience. Sarel Cilliers would like to encourage parents to take advantage of this offer next year as it is of great benefit to the learners.
