Aspiring volleyball stars at ML Sultan

Despite being novices, the teams emerged runners up in the Girls Under 12 and Girls Over 12 teams

Saturday, May 23, was a hype of excitement for the ML Sultan Estcourt Primary School learners, who for some, was the first time participating in a volleyball tournament.

Despite being novices, the teams emerged runners up in the Girls Under 12 and Girls Over 12 teams. The Boys Under 12 and Boys Over 12 teams were placed third.

All participants received trophies and medals. Senamile Mbona received the award for the Most Valuable Player in the Girls Under 12 division and Nomalungelo Kubheka received the award as the Best Player for the Girls Over 12.

ML Sultan Estcourt Primary would like to express their appreciation to the Umtshezi Volleyball Association for their contribution and efforts in training and engaging both the teachers and learners in the game of volleyball.
