2 suspects arrested in the possession of KHAT
KHAT is otherwise known as Methcathinone.
2 suspects, aged 29 and 32, were arrested and are set to appear in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court today (Tuesday) for the possession of drugs suspected to be KHAT.
On June 8 at around midday Ladysmith K9 unit were patrolling in the Ladysmith area when they spotted suspicious activity at Settlers Park.
The police officials went to investigate and subsequently searched two people seated in a vehicle.
KHAT is otherwise known as Methcathinone.
The drugs will be sent away for forensic testing..
The estimated street value of the seized drugs is around R200.
