Ladies of the night leave their mark

Up to 12 scantily and suggestively dressed ladies (and one or two men) have taken up their post opposite the Magistrate's Court

As winter creeps in and the nights get cold, the ladies of the night are taking measures to keep warm as they ply their trade on the corner of Ann and Beaconsfield Streets.
Up to 12 scantily and suggestively dressed ladies (and one or two men) have taken up their post opposite the Magistrate’s Court where they lure potential patrons by shouting out at passing motorists after sunset and even jumping in front of cars.
However, now that the cold has crept in, the ladies have taken to making fires on the corner, using leaves, sticks and anything else flammable. This has obliterated the street sign and may confuse visitors looking for Ann and Beaconsfield Streets.
