If you answered yes, make sure to support the Esperanza Special Needs School golf day on July 11 at the Newcastle Golf Club.

The annual competition will be played in the IPS format.

Explaining the background to the day, school representatives said running as a private non-government organisation meant enduring high monthly costs.

With financial backing from the community, the highest quality education can be offered.

Advertising space is up for sale around the club house, exclusive tee boxes are welcome and watering holes can be sponsored.

Other contributions in terms of prizes or cash donations are also welcome.

“All contributions will be acknowledged and displayed on the day of the event.”

Players can take par at R150 per person, including green fees and dinner.
