The annual Pam Golding Recognition Ceremony was held last Thursday and was a bittersweet occasion.

Not only did the event celebrate and recognise achievements in real estate, but the team also welcomed two new members to the fold, Shelley Le Roux and Bernice Liebenberg, while bidding a sad farewell to a Pam Golding stalwart, Dawn Williams who retired after 10 years with the team.

“She may be absent from our office, but she will never be forgotten. She will always remain a part of our Pam Golding family. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dawn for her fierce loyalty to my mother (who was principal before me), to me, the PGP team and the brand, as well as for her tireless dedication and excellent service she has delivered to many Newcastle landlords over the years,” commented Sam Wade, Newcastle Pam Golding principal.

Ms Williams received a certificate for Long Service as did another Pam Golding stalwart, Colleen Hawthorne, who has been with Pam Golding Properties for more than 15 years. Both certificates were signed by the Pam Golding Properties CEO, Dr Andrew Golding.

“Colleen is an excellent ambassador for our brand, a consummate professional and is the glue in our office that holds the team together. She has incredible integrity and is always reliable. We are very honoured to have her as part of our team.”

The top achiever of the evening was sales agent, Sharon Van Der Walt, who walked away with four awards: Highest Sales, Highest Commission Earner, Most Improved Agent of the Year and Agent of the Year.

“Sharon has worked so hard this year and deserves all the recognition and rewards that come her way. She is hard-working and dedicated to her clients, and to the brand. She really is passionate about what she does and this shows in the way she does business. She listens to her clients’ needs and will always go the extra mile for them and she never bullies them. Her ethos echoes the ethos of our brand…..our clients are not just another sale, another slice of commission….our clients mean something to us and our reward is when they become Pam Golding clients for life,” says Ms Wade.

The recognition ceremony was a three course meal, held at a private residence on Thursday evening and was attended by the team and their partners.

“I would like to thank my mother, Glynis Fenton, who arranged the function and opened her home to us. The food was superb and the occasion felt extra special!,”Ms Wade concluded.
