One man has been rushed to hospital with a gunshot wound to the face, following an altercation at the Karellandman/ Victoria Street traffic circle.
The argument started after a local towing company stopped to assist a broken-down truck which was involved in a collision.
The argument escalated quickly, with one of the men taking out a cricket bat and the other man a wheel spanner to assault the men from the towing company.
The employee of the towing company then pulled out a gun and fired three shots.
Members of the SAPS, Paramedics, Correctional Services EST and the Traffic Police were all on hand to control the chaos.
