Tied up and robbed

The suspects stole several items including cell-phones, a laptop, cash, TVs and a camera

Police are investigating a case of house robbery following an incident that happened last night (Thursday) at about 9.30pm.

Two Ladysmith residents are reported to have been waiting to receive guests who would be staying at their property. Two people arrived and then later left on the pretext of buying takeaways.

Shortly thereafter, a group of around eight people arrived. The residents were threatened with a firearm, after which they were tied up and locked in a room. They managed to free themselves and contacted police.

The robbers stole several items including cell-phones, a laptop, cash, TVs and a camera.
