Suspected pedophile’s case postponed

Any person who requires to come forward and report molestation charges against the suspect can contact Const du Plessis at 034 314 6177.

Social network was charged with a flurry of activity as community members voiced their disgust at the alleged pedophile who was recently arrested outside a primary school.

The elderly man had allegedly exposed himself to several children after visiting schools on a daily basis.

He was eventually taken into custody after he had tried to convince a child to touch him in exchange for money.

The child reported him to the school principal.

He was promptly arrested outside the school and now faces criminal charges.

However, this was not the first time he has faced legal action for child molestation.

The suspect had faced previous charges when he preyed on children outside a primary school on the outskirts of Newcastle, where he would offer the children a lift in return for sexual favours.

With the man expected to appear in Newcastle Court last Thursday morning, a resident said she intended to go to court so that she could identify the man and scream if she saw him outside her child’s school.

Despite support shown on social network, not much of a following was seen at the court on the following day.

Due to non-appearance by the suspect’s attorney, the case has been postponed to April 12 and the suspect remanded.

Any person who requires to come forward and report molestation charges against the suspect can contact Const du Plessis at 034 314 6177.
