Brynbella community welcomes crèche

The project costs R725 000 rand and is being built by PGA Consulting Engineers together with SCENIC Route Contractors

The Mayor of Umtshezi Municipality Bongani Dlamini officially opened a crèche at Brynbella on Thursday last week. The Mayor who is the former ward councillor of the area told about 150 people that it was a great honour to hand-over the crèche to the community.

He further said that the local people should be trained to manage the project as it will also help with community meetings since there is no hall. Mr Dlamini urged the community to take care of the property and guard against criminals and vandalism.

He said the Brynbella Crèche will be incorporated with other places such as Wembezi and eMabhanoyini that is still not electrified. The project costs R725 000 rand and is being built by PGA Consulting Engineers together with SCENIC Route Contractors.

The Mayor who is now called “Mr Service Delivery” has requested that PGA Consulting Engineers donate a house for the underprivileged Sthole family that has been living in a mud-house. On the same day Mr Dlamini performed a sod turning for a construction of a new house.
