Chess Champions of Lincoln Heights Secondary School
Chess players of Lincoln Heights Secondary School participated in the Jacob Zuma Foundation Chess Championship on
November 27, 2014.
Suveshin Naidoo and Aatikah Pathai won the boys and girls under 15 divisions respectively.
Both Suveshin and Aatikah were chosen as team leaders to play at Nkandla against the rest of KwaZulu-Natal.
The Amajuba District Team finished third in the competition.
Other pupils from Lincoln Heights Secondary School also excelled in the championship.
Sneegugu Hlope won second place and Shimthi Singh won first place in the under 18 girls division.
