Go bright or go bald – 2015 Shavathon

There will be music, fun, competitions and a chance to get-up close with the CANSA mascot, Tok-Tokkie, on March 21 at The Mews from 9am

Excitement is mounting for the 2015 Shavathon in aid of the Cancer Association. This year the event wil be held at the Mews Courtyard on Beaconsfield Street. inconjunction with the Guinea Fowl Coffee Shop, Curry Parlour and the Courier.
Come spray, shave or even donate your ponytail to a good cause. It’s R50 for a shave and R20 for a spray. All money raised will go towards CANSA. There will be food for sale and something to keep the kids entertained as well.
Sponsors are coming forward all the time and the day is panning out to be one to remember. Those sacrificing their hair will earn themselve a free five-minute head and shoulder massage courtesy of newly opened spa, L N Connoisseurs. The local Health Department will man an information desk and conduct screenings.
Shoprite are sponsoring cupcakes while there will be plenty of food and drinks on sales.
