One of Newcastle’s most respected and loved police officers, Warrant Officer Sasha Naidoo, has again proven he is a cut above the pack.
W/O Naidoo was recently awarded the Best Dog Handler of the Year for 2014.This is a title he has won three times already.
“Well, I’ve always loved animals, even when I was young,” explained W/O Naidoo.
“So now, getting to work with them everyday has just made my job much easier. The dogs can sense the love I have for them.”
Coupled with this title, W/O Naidoo was also credited with the most arrests made and property recovered last year.
“My passion is to stop crime. I want Newcastle to be a town in which people don’t have to be scared.
“This is why I will always give my all to help clean up Newcastle’s crime.”
