AfriForum relentless in pursuing water issues

The unwavering and relentless guardian of human rights, who has been making waves in high places, was recently arrested in Scottburgh, on charges of trespassing and crimen injuria and will appear in court on March 3 after the case was postponed on February 11.

Chris Fourie, AfriForum’s Provincial Co-ordinater for KwaZulu Natal, who recently visited Vryheid to investigate the poor quality of the municipal drinking water, dropped by again today to follow up on the previous disheartening outcome of the water tests.

Fourie took samples of water from Klipfontein Water Purification Works again and additionally published a photo of a glass of clearly unpalatable drinking water, which was allegedly obtained from Vryheid’s CBD yesterday.
