Marathon swim to eradicate polio

In the past three years of the Global Swimarathon, more than R6-million has been raised internationally for the Rotary End Polio Now Campaign, to eradicate polio in the three countries where it is still endemic.

Join the Dundee Rotary Club for the Global Swimarathon 2015 to raise funds to finally eradicate polio. The event will take place at the Dundee High School Swimming Pool on Monday, February 23, from 4.15pm to 6pm and you are encouraged to come and swim a few lengths of the pool for charity.
Please bring with a donation of R5 (or more if you wish) for your participation, which will be added to the funds raised by Rotary Clubs that are participating in more than 40 Countries throughout the world.

This is an opportunity for you to participate and be part of the world’s biggest one day swimming event, and the Dundee Rotary Club challenges other Service Clubs, schools, fitness and sporting clubs, church groups, businesses and community organisations, to see who can record the most swimmers at the event.
