6 people were injured in a head-on collision on the N11 close to the Limit Hill robots last night (Saturday).
A VW Polo and Toyota Yaris collided, but details of the crash are still sketchy. Both lanes were closed due to the wreckage.
The injured were all stabilised at the scene and transported to hospital by Sharaj, ER24 and EMRS. Serious to minor injuries were sustained.
The road was closed while clean-up operations were carried out. This included sawdust being used to remove oil that had spilled on the road. Once the roadway had been cleared, traffic was allowed to flow freely once again.
Police, Public Safety and towing services were also at the scene.
