Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than to cap it all off with a good ol’ fashioned competition against your better half?
No seriously, enjoy the romance on Saturday, but come Sunday, let your competitive streak take over for a change, and compete against your partner in the annual Checkers & Waterside Cycle Challenge.
Featuring a 100km, 60km and 20km races, plus an off-road mountain biking event, you can be sure to lift the spirit and get the heart pumping.
Funds generated from the event will go towards CANSA.
Registration closes on Saturday. Race numbers can be collected from Waterside Wimpy from 6pm to 8pm on Saturday, or from 5am to 6am on Sunday.
Races will begin at 6.15am with the 100km for men aged 17 to 49.
