One person was injured after a Honda Ballade crashed last night (Thursday) in Shepstone Road.
It is alleged that the driver lost control of the car and hit the barrier at the side of the road. The bonnet was completely ripped off in the accident.
The Honda came to rest partly on the sidewalk and partly in the road, blocking the flow of traffic.
The driver was treated for slight injuries by Sharaj Ambulance Services paramedics.
A crowd of onlookers gathered as police officers took down the details of the crash.
Traffic was controlled by Public Safety and police while clean-up operations took place.
