No arrests have been made by police since the horror shooting at the Ezakheni Mall in November last year that claimed the lives of four people.
A married couple and a brother and sister were leaving the Roots Butchery (where they worked) at the Ezakheni Mall when the car they were travelling in was ambushed within sight of the mall.
The victims stopped their car to remove rocks from the road and as the driver got out, an Isuzu bakkie pulled up next to them. Gunmen then opened fire without warning, shooting at the driver and the still-seated occupants.
3 people died at the scene, with 1 person passing away later in hospital.
