Uelzen’s swimmers in top form at Chelmsford Challenge

Special mention must be made of Aiden Carter who achieved first place in his age group and Cameron Meintjes who achieved third place in her age group.

The first Uelzen Grade 7 leadership training camp took place on Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31, at school, led by Mr Raffenberg and Mrs Durham. It was an action-packed time of short talks, problem-solving activities and games for our first term prefects, House and Vice Captains and Bus prefects.
The various skills needed to take on responsible, leadership rôles were highlighted and reinforced. Swim breaks and delicious treats completed a really enjoyable, valuable time for all. The second camp will take place from 27 – 28 March for other Grade 7s. Uelzen wishes the current team everything of the best for 2015 as they serve their school.
Uelzen is very proud of all the pupils who participated in the Chelmsford Challenge last Saturday. Special mention must be made of Aiden Carter who achieved first place in his age group and Cameron Meintjes who achieved third place in her age group.
