Awards for top matrics at Town Hall

The Mayoral Matric Excellence Awards took place on Friday afternoon at the Town Hall. This was held to honour the top 30 matriculants from different schools in Ladysmith, who achieved seven A’s.

Proud parents and matriculants took their seats as they waited for the formalities to begin. Mayor Vincent Madlala addressed the crowd about the clean audit achieved by the local municipality and the great future that lies ahead for these matriculants.

Thereafter, the Grade 12’s received their trophies and certificates.

Lunch was provided for all.

It was definitely a day to be remembered by all the matriculants and their parents who attended the function.
