Local Chinese business owners, together with TFS and the SAPS of Dundee, rallied together during the festive season and sponsored food parcels to 100 poor families.
Pick ‘n Win and SuperSave Supermarket, also known as Gwe-zu, were the businesses that brought happy smiles and full stomachs on December 18, 2014. The 100 families were made up of 20 per ward and had been identified by the Ward War Room ‘champions’, who were also present during the handover. Both Pick ‘n Win and SuperSave pledged their support to the cause and have promised to continue donating food parcels every year.
