Municipality remains mum on condition of Ncandu River

Recent tests on the water of the Ncandu River has revealed the river is in dire straits.

The water is possibly hazardous to humans and animals.

A list of questions regarding the tests and subsequent results was sent to the communications department of Newcastle Municipality on October 3.

To date no response has been received.
