Rainy farewell for Glencoe Primary learners

It was with great enthusiasm that the Grade 7 pupils arrived at the Glencoe Primary School hall to enjoy their farewell function. They were met with a downpour of rain, but that did not dampen their spirits!

It literally looked like the children were playing in the snow at Glencoe Primary during their annual water games…
By the look on the faces of the learners, they were really having fun! The day started with a show by NG Promotions, which promoted anti-bullying.
The pupils watched a film and were then treated to ‘inflatables’, which were pitched up on the rugby fields. There were 11 different inflatables, with slides and one huge one for parachuting. The pupils had a blast, as they were also allowed to bring water pistols. Even some of the teachers ended up squirting each other! All the teachers worked hard to make this day a huge success. Thank you to all the organisers.
Grade 7 farewell

Photos were taken and dinner was served by the Grade 6 learners. The décor on the tables looked amazing, and the hard work by the teachers under the supervision of Mrs van Vuuren was clearly evident.
It was a special night for the Grade 7 pupils, who all looked very smart, and the school wishes them well in their future endeavours.
