President Zuma announces three development projects in Msinga

A R55-million project to make the single-lane access bridge over the Tugela River at Tugela Ferry a two-lane carriagewa

President Jacob Zuma on Saturday launched three rural development projects in Msinga, which promise to energise the area’s economy.
The three projects include the formalization of a 100 year old irrigation scheme which was set up locals to water community gardens, a sod turning for a bridge (a R55-million project to make the single-lane access bridge over the Tugela River at Tugela Ferry a two-lane carriageway), and the animal sale yard, are a joint initiative of the departments of Agriculture, Rural Development and Land Reform and Transport.
President Zuma was accompanied by Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform Gugile Nkwinti, KZN Premier Senzo Mchunu and members of the provincial executive.
