Two 5000 litre water tanks were installed at the Mhubeni Care Centre and Crèche by members of the Estcourt Rotary Club. Area Co-ordinator Roger Haynes, Past Assistant Governor Ian Freeman, Rotarians Tracy Sinclair and Gerard Busschers suddenly became expert plumbers while Past President Louis Piovesan kept his distance behind the camera.
The Mhubeni community cultivate a variety of vegetables and in the past had to carry water, from afar, for the garden. It is hoped that this Estcourt Rotary Water Project will make life easier with an onsite water supply.
Now all is needed is for the rains to arrive and fill the tanks.
