No load shedding scheduled for today

Residents can expect a black-out free day.

Power utility Eskom have reassured all South Africans that there will be no power cuts today.

The country has experienced load shedding following the Majuba power station crisis over the weekend.

Spokesperson Andrew Etzinger says they managed to restore coal supplies to two of the six units.

“At this point about 1200-mega watts of the 3600-mega watts normally produced at the power station is coming out to be good. That gives just about enough relief to avoid load shedding during the day.”

Load shedding may resume tomorrow.

Dannhauser residents can expect the following times to experience load shedding.
