Load-shedding is back again

Eskom announced early this morning (Sunday) that load-shedding is now in effect in the country.

The whole of the Acaciavale and Lenordsville areas has been switched off thus far. According to municipality technicians, the old roster will be in place. Residents should be prepared for electricity outages of at least 3 hours. Load-shedding will be in place for a week.

They should come back on at 6pm. Then the next area will go down. At this stage we do not know which area will be next.

Eskom appeals to homeowners to use electricity wisely, especially late in the afternoon when everybody is at home.
