Successful Relay contributes to Cansa

A presentation and appreciation function was held on Wednesday, October 15 at Forderville Primary School.
Anil Sookraj (event chair) and Bruce Kenneth (CANSA-Pietermaritzburg) thanked all survivors, sponsors, donors, Relayers and support group members for making the sixth Relay for Life a resounding success. Bruce paid special mention to the committee for their teamwork, camaraderie and dedication to the cause.

The winners of the raffle were drawn and will be informed telephonically to collect their prizes from Forderville Primary School. The highlight of the evening was the cheque presentation of R100 000 to the Cancer Association of South Africa for their research, advocacy and health care programmes.
