THE results of the penultimate week of the Spring Squash Challenge were generally very close, with two teams ending with level scores. October 14: Kaktusblom 6 – 6 Petunias and Proteas 7 – 7 Catalya. October 15: Aloes 7 – 6 Doringrosies and Sunflowers 10 – 4 Daffodils. By next week, the winners will be known, but here are the current standings: Proteas 57; Kaktusblom 52; Petunias 49; Sunflowers 40; Aloes 34; Doringrosies 32 and Daffodils 29.
The Squash Club Championships will start next week, Tuesday, October 28. The list is up on the board at the squash club. Please write your name down if you would like to play. The finals of the Championships will be combined with the year end function, so make sure to join in this great event on October 22.
