Supervisor assaulted by fellow employee

A case of common assault has been opened against the employee.

A supervisor of a store at the PnP Boulevard Centre was allegedly assaulted by a fellow employee after an argument broke out between the two.

The supervisor allegedly saw the employee outside the shop and approached him, after which an argument broke out. The argument ensued and the employee punched the supervisor before fleeing’, said Dundee SAPS Communications Officer, Captain V Mbhense.

The exact reason behind the altercation is still unknown; however, it is believed to have transpired over a work related argument.

A case of common assault has been opened against the employee.

However, when approached by the Courier, staff of the store said that the supervisor in question did not even work there.
