Scrap yard customers cause havoc?

Customers who go to the scrap yard in Illing Road have evidently been causing havoc on the road for other motorists. 

This is happening because some customers choose to park their cars at the roadside, making it difficult for other road-users to get past. They are also known to leave their scrap metal at the side of the road.

“The area was once not like this, but people constantly loading scrap metal has made the place look so untidy. Not just that, but motorists have a hard time negotiating their way between all the metal that’s piled up everywhere,” said one annoyed motorist. 

Last week, Public Safety was called in to clear the area, with the owners of the scrap yard also doing their bit to help clean up the mess.

The problem is not as bad now that attempts have been made to clear the road. Driving conditions are much better, and people delivering scrap metal seem to be staying off the road.
