Police have released the details of the Nquthu traffic officer who committed suicide last week.
Muzomuhle Thanduxolo Ndaba (38) was found dead outside his home in the Nquthu location. Police reported that there was blood in his room.
He had a gunshot wound to the left side of his chest.
It is believed that he used the state firearm to shoot himself. The same firearm and one empty cartridge was found at the scene of the crime.
The motive for suicide is unknown at this stage, however, the matter is being investigated by Nquthu detectives.
Muzomuhle is survived by his three children.
