Local delegates of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Newcastle can look forward to their Regional Convention to be held from Friday, October 3 until Sunday, October 5 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal.

The convention programme is of benefit to the entire public and people of all race groups are welcome to attend.

Present world conditions, economic hardships, family breakdowns, depression and daily anxieties of life are challenges the entire human race is facing today. A world free from this is the hope the Bible delivers. (Rev 21: 3,4). Out of love for their neighbour, Jehovah’s Witnesses in Newcastle have started inviting all in their neighborhood to the event by means of a colourful invitation.

A highlight will be two theatrical productions which will bring a Bible story and a modern day drama to life. The first of the dramas will be on Friday at 3pm and the second on Sunday at 2pm. The programme will start on all three days at 9.20am. On Saturday at 11.45 am the baptism talk will be followed by water immersion of new delegates.

Admission is free and no collections are taken. Worldwide, there are more than 8 300 000 Jehovah’s Witnesses.
